The Split Nut has four vertical grooves on the shaft.
When the nut is tightened the grooves split open, creating a large bearing surface on the back side of the material to be joined, resulting in a strong connection.
The pull-out value is significantly higher than that of the standard blind rivet nut.

SPECIFICATIONS :

Specific High pull-out value and can be placed in sheet metal, plastics, and brittle materials (hard/soft).
Specific Multi-grip blind rivet nut

NB : These inserts cannot be setting with standard tools. 
Tools with a minimum stroke of 16mm and extended tie rods must be used.
